Working as a Digital Project Manager


As a Digital Project Manager, you'll oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they align with client objectives and are completed on time and within budget. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, establish timelines, allocate resources, and manage project schedules. Your role will involve coordinating tasks, communicating project status updates, and resolving any issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of digital projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and success criteria.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Coordinate tasks and resources across cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, and content creators.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or roadblocks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status updates, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-mortems, to facilitate communication and collaboration.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints.
  • Foster a positive team environment, providing leadership, guidance, and support to team members to ensure project success.
  • Continuously evaluate project processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices to optimize project delivery.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a digital insurance environments.
  • Strong understanding of digital project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Expertise in insurance domain, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of the industry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate project requirements, objectives, and expectations.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to identify issues, analyze options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality, with the ability to ensure projects meet defined standards and client expectations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Jira, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
